Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-01. Draft for review by counsel before launch, including state pay-transparency rules.
1. The service
RecruitDock is a job marketplace for technology work in the United States. Job seekers create profiles and apply to jobs; employers post jobs and review applicants; bench recruiters market consultants and submit them to jobs. By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, post fake or misleading jobs, harvest resumes or contact details, or harass other users. Suspended accounts are told the reason.
3. Job postings
Employers may post only genuine, currently open positions that they are authorised to fill. Postings must state the pay range where state or local law requires it (for example California, Colorado, New York, Washington and Illinois), must not require fees from candidates, and must not discriminate on any basis protected by law. A new employer's first posting may be reviewed before it is public. Contact details in descriptions are hidden on the public page so applications go through the site.
4. Resumes and candidate data
Resumes and profiles may be used only to fill the job applied for or, for searchable profiles, to make a genuine job offer. Downloading, scraping or sharing candidate data for any other purpose is prohibited. Every resume view is logged.
5. Submissions by recruiters
A consultant may be submitted to a job by one vendor only. Recruiters must have the consultant's permission to market them and to share their resume.
6. Content and licence
You keep ownership of what you post and give RecruitDock a licence to show it on the service and in search results, alerts and emails for as long as it is live. Public jobs may be shown on partner sites and search engines.
7. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that any job is genuine or that any candidate is suitable, and we are not a party to any employment or contracting agreement. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid none.
8. Changes and contact
We may change these terms; the version date at the top changes when we do and material changes are announced by email. Questions: legal@recruitdock.com.
